After high school, Lars entered the military service and completed his basic military service for nine months within the Kongelige Livgarde (Royal Guards), an infantry regiment of the Danish army. He didn't feel the military was right for him, and so he started to look for something different and decided to pursue a degree in biology. Anette returned from a juggler course and showed Lars just how much she could do in just three days, even though Lars was already working for a half-year. Lars was thrilled and was determined to try it. The result was that he dropped out of college and enrolled at the juggler's school. There he learnt the art of juggling and fire breathing, as well as other things. After the completion of high school the student traveled across Europe with two of his friends which was where he performed on the streets of Paris, Munich, Moscow, Warsaw, and other cities. In the following year, he came into contact with a children's circus where he was introduced to pantomime, as well as street theater and children's theater.
