Vinita Nair
She joined ABC News July 2004 and has been a reporter on a range of subjects, including Jon Benet Ramsey's investigation, Jon Benet Ramsey investigation, as well as school shootings in Bailey, Colorado. Nair started her role as an ABC News anchor/correspondent in December 2007 at ABC News Now. She was in charge of anchoring live news coverage, as well as briefings on ABC's network's digital platforms. Nair was a co-anchor for World News Now, America This Morning as well as ABC's digital network until September 17th in 2008 through February 18th 2011. On both shows the show, she first worked with Jeremy Hubbard then later Rob Nelson. Nair made it clear to viewers on World News Now that she would not be appearing in World News Now after Friday the 18th of February. She would also have her final day working for ABC News. The former KDVR Denver anchor Peggy Bunker was her replacement immediately. In the February 18 issue of World News Now paid tribute to Nair in each of its three segments. It also featured appearances by former and current colleagues, including Jeremy Hubbard. The day she left she treated all the team for breakfast.
