Alinity is listed in the complaint made against Twitch. Erik Estavillo, a Twitch user who is from California made a complaint to the civil court asking for $25 million damages from Twitch for exposing them to "overly explicit and sexually explicit content of female streamers" as they browsed the site. According to court records discovered through Dexerto, the plaintiff, who had previously filed suit against Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo and Blizzard Entertainment, filed his formal complaint in court on June 15 seeking to file a lawsuit. Twitch was served an official summons on June 19. Estavillo is a man who according to his complaint in Santa Clara Superior Court of California submitted on June 15 is suffering from obsessive/compulsive disorder including sexual addiction as well as other health issues that force him to rely solely upon the internet to entertain himself. It also states that Twitch causes these problems. The complaint then outlined a number of female Twitch streamers, claiming that they "continue to expose users to sexy and addictive material on a frequent and consistent on a regular basis." Except for Alinity the list includes the following: When requesting relief the complaint seeks to have all streamers mentioned above to be permanently barred in violation of Twitch's TOS as well as a total of $25 million dollars "to be split equally between the plaintiff as well as others Twitch Prime Turbo subscribers," and any remaining funds to be donated to a variety of charities.
